The United States of America is beautiful, from coast to coast. It's a wonderful country, with so many different cultures and landscapes. It would feel as though I had traveled the world if I only spent my life exploring the United States. Be aware of everything with Delta Airlines Flights ,before you book an airline ticket. It is amazing that you can find in one country some of the highest mountaintops and tropical beaches, icy glaciers and rocky deserts with some the most stunning formations on Earth. Alabama Hills, California The Alabama Hills are BLM land. This means it is owned by the public (the Bureau of Land Management). It has beautiful views of the eastern Sierras and many Hollywood stories. This was my first solo road trip and I loved every moment of it. The Alabama Hills is a great place to take photos. You can visit the Movie Road (pictured above), Mobius Arch (go after sunset), and many other photogenic stops. Miss Alabama, Boot Arch, and Miss Alabama. San Francisco, California Nearly everyone falls in love with San Francisco when they visit California from somewhere else. It's part of my DNA as a Southern California native to find it offensive. But deep down I silently agree. The Bay Area is beautiful, temperate and has a unique cultural scene. Many of my European friends say that it reminds them of their home. Kenai Fjords National Park Our journey starts north of the Lower 48, in Alaska's Kenai Fjords National Park. This national park is located in southern Alaska and contains 38 glaciers as well as numerous fjords. It also houses the Harding Icefield, named after Warren G. Harding, former President of the United States. Harding visited the area in 1920. Keep your eyes open for sea lions and black bears in Kenai Fjords National Park. Molokai, Hawaii There are many cool places in the US to visit, but this is one of them. It is also home to some of the most beautiful islands in the world. Here's why: Molokai is quite a different place from all the other Hawaiian islands. Although it is tropical and inviting, the rustic island has not been visited by the same number of tourists as the rest. It is a hidden gem that is unique and special. Big Sur, California It is an incredible experience to drive along the Big Sur. The winding, serpentine roads that make up Highway 1 can be difficult at times. But the breathtaking views more than make it worth it. The rugged coastline stretches from Carmel in Central California to San Simeon. You'll see beautiful beaches, scenic cliffs and bridges on your Big Sur road trip. It's one of the most stunning, iconic, and bucket-list places in the US. Mount Rainier, Washington It is the highest mountain in the Pacific Northwest at 14,410 feet (4.392 m) above the Washington landscape. The majestic mountain is a backdrop to the Seattle skyline, Puget Sound and other nearby landmarks. This mountain is also an active volcano. It last erupted in 1894.
