The Stride Monument - Located amidst the Kampala Serena Hotel and the Uganda Parliament Gardens, the historical monument was erected in commemoration of Uganda hosting Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting in the year of 2007. It is one of the most expensive monuments in Uganda.

The ancient lake covers an area of around 2 square km and has a depth of 200 feet. The lake was built, so that the Buganda emperors could enjoy the water activities like fishing.
