In the United Arab Emirates (UAE), medical, dental and pharmaceutical graduates can apply for a residency program in Dubai, Abu Dhabi or the rest of emirates. In order to do so, applicants must take the Emirates Medical Residency Entrance Examination (EMREE) which was previously called the EMSTREX.
