There are a few things you can do to have good relationships with your industry's leaders. First, remember that they lead the team because of their knowledge and experience in this area so it will be difficult for them if not impossible at times! It doesn't matter what kind of personality trait or skill set we had when growing up - no one is perfect afterall- but being able put others before ourselves may come into play here especially since most people want recognition from those around him/her too much (even though selflessness has its cost)
