Marijuana is derived from the plant genus of #cannabis. This genus has two species which are sativa and indica, both desired for their narcotic effect from the active ingredient delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol (or THC for short) which is a psychoactive chemical element. It is considered as a psychotropic ingredient and in most cases this drug induces a sleepy feeling or groggy effect on its users, depending on dosage used.
