Mount Kailash is the holiest mountain, and it is located in the western part of Tibet, China. Buddhists, Bon people, Hindus, and followers of Jainism all worship Mt. Kailash as a sacred destination. Mt. Kailash is renowned for its unique shape, appearing like a pyramid and towering at 6,638 meters (21,778 feet). Mt. Kailash stands surrounded by several other peaks, and just in front of it lies Lake Mansarovar.
