Online ETA Apply for E-Tourist Visa Enabled by Electronic Travel Authorization

Indian Government introduced Online ETA scheme to give peace, calm, satisfaction and hassle free service to the clients while filling up the forms and doing paper related formalities. After successfully completion of online application form, traveler will get an ETA approval email. It is necessary to take a copy of it along with you at the time of arrival in India. Diplomatic and Official Passport holders are exempt from this services. Travellers should have a valid Passport with 6 months validity while applying for an ETA. The Service will bring enthusiasm, willingness and excitement towards the traveler’s who are making plans for a short-term visit to India through Online ETA. The scheme was renamed to e-Tourist Visa (eTV) on 15 April 2015 to avoid confusion. Online ETA is non-extendable/non-convertible and not valid for Protected/Restricted/Cantonment areas.
