If you want to get your Pool certified, you need to do the following: Firstly, you will be required to register your Pool which you can do easily online. Now, you need to ensure that your Pool meets the safety standards listed as follows: ● The minimum height of the pool fence must be at least 1200mm. ● The space from the ground level to the bottom level of any barrier is 100mm or even lesser. ● There must be a space of at least 900mm between any horizontal rails of the fence. ● Gaps in the vertical part of the fence must not exceed 100mm. ● If the height of the fence is less than 1800mm, any climbable objects outside the fence must be at least 900mm away. ● If the vertical part of the fence is more than 10mm apart, climbable objects inside the fence must be at least 300mm away. ● The gate to the Pool must not open inward and must be self-closing as well as self-latching from all positions. ● Latches on the gate should be less than 1500mm high from the ground level and 1400mm from the top of the bottom horizontal railings.
