What do you mean by Pre launching? Is it worth buying/investing in such offers? And if invested, is there any dark side to it? Pre launch ads come normally with builders showing ads of pre launch flats. This is a marketing strategy done by builders to attract buyers or let's say that brokers would like to invest in their upcoming project. It's also considered as a tool by builders to project the feedback they can get from actual completed project. One major advantage as a buyer is that we avail discounts varying from 10 – 15 percent sometimes even 20 percent or even more for some projects when compared to price of completed projects. From brokers’ point of view, this is seen as an investment option, since they can sell at a higher premium and builders defined when the projects are completed. It's like an investment for a short period. Also the price rise doesn't affect you, since the deal has already been made by you with the builders. Risk involved in pre launch offers which is worth mentioning, is the unknown fate of project completion. But this risk is taken care, if you invest in some reputed builders who have good track history. Reputed builders complete projects on time and they provide you with services and facilities which competitors find difficult to provide. Pre launch offers are generally offered for a short time period and few of them extend till the initial days of project starting. Take a good look at the builder background before investing, since it’s a lifelong investment for most of us.
