    PROBLEM FACED WITH SIM CARDS

    Category: Technology

Here are the few of the drawbacks of traditional SIM cards : 1) Transferring a card: If your phone is of an older generation or from another region, SIM card size can vary. Then it will compel you to purchase a special tray or SIM card reader to transfer to a new phone. This can be a inconvenience if you are traveling and need coverage immediately, don't have access to an adapter or you are in an emergency. 2) Switching Carriers Switching carriers on your phone is the matter of concern, depending on if your phone is locked or unlocked. If you have an unlocked phone, you need to just remove the SIM card from the old device and insert it in to the new one for the area planned to visit. It will connect to the network and ready to go. If your phone is locked, you cannot switch to another carrier. While your phone is locked, you can only use the SIM card provided by your carrier. 3) SIM Card Malfunctions The two reasons to increase risk of damaging a SIM card are since chips are more delicate and more usage of our phones. Leaving your phone near water, heat, or fall damage will lead to SIM card malfunction. The damage can also happen during transferring the chip. 4) Limited Wireless Service SIM cards are good only in the area they cover. If you are in a more remote area, your signal strength will be reduced. Improperly placing the card into the SIM tray can also effect the SIM card service. There can also be issues with your SIM card when you preloaded cards from the vendors outside your home country, such as: unreliable build quality, unreliable service and hacked cards 5) Expensive Roaming Plans If you buy roaming plans from your home provider, you could be charged more. Some network providers offer roaming plans that work out to be $10-$15 a day (That's $70-$105 a week!). Here esimkart offer comparable eSIM plans starting at $5 for 1GB for the week. Check out more on our website. These are main problem in using a sim card. There are are few more problems that can be discussed later on.
