    Why there is a rise in Montessori education in India?

    In a recent report, the number of students enrolled in Montessori schools has increased by more than 50% since 2016. Do you know why the enrollment of children in Montessori schools is on the rise in India? There have been a lot of success stories from people who graduated from Montessori schools and the popularity of this system has been increasing over time. The reason behind this is that the Montessori system encourages students to find their place in the world and work in an interdisciplinary manner. In India, the Montessori method of education has been introduced in the last few years as an alternative for children from pre-primary to high school levels as well as adults. Introducing this modernized teaching style has been warmly received by parents who have had no other option until now. It also has ancient roots in India and was inspired by rishis and munis. But it became popular in Europe after its introduction to Europe. And to promote Indian origin education and ideas, the Indian Government is also taking an interest in it. The Indian government has also taken up the responsibility of promoting the Montessori Method of education with a national campaign that will be showcased in schools across India. This campaign includes a documentary on the success stories of students who have participated in this program. In an effort to promote this approach, the Indian government is investing in the education of more than 30 million children by 2024. Besides expanding opportunities, the project has been working with schools and communities to create a Montessori curriculum.
